I just heard the $1000 donation done during Windwaker HD and like the applauding crowd I was really impressed. I can't match that but I can do this. For me as a 31 year old gamer it feels immensely great seeing the community come together for this. There are some problems with gaming today. Hints of misogyny, addiction and mindless trashtalk and bad sportmanship online. Therefor a event like this both impresses me and make me hopefully. Our community is great when it wants to. Loving and caring. This is the stuff I tell me colleagues about on Monday that makes me a proud gamer! |
