I'd say Masyashi Soken's work in Final Fantasy Fourteen is by and far away my favorite across the series. A little bit of trivia. He beat cancer 2020 while working on the soundtrack for the 5.X series of patches for Shadowbringers, all from his bed in the hospital! 'To The Edge' from the final fight in those patches was a testament not only to the game but to his time working on the game for the community. I'm so glad he's still with us, which I have no doubt is in part due to the effort PCF has put in with help from us here. "Riding home... Riding home!!! Don't lose hope... Don't lose HOPE!!" |
