Lost my mother before Thanksgiving to an aggressive form of cancer that has a historically abysmal prognosis. Very little is known about it and there seems to be hardly any interest in developing treatments or understanding of it, so her fate was begrudgingly sealed. Some of my best memories were playing video games with her (and handing the controller to her to clear difficult levels and battles), so this one is for you, mom! May we conquer cancer and play video games while doing so! |
