As my final donation of the marathon, I just want to thank you all for doing what you do. Discovering the GDQ runs on YouTube brought me a lot of joy and strength throughout the past 6 or so months, and being able to watch live and donate has meant so much to me. You've proven to me once and for all that gaming is NOT a worthless hobby, and that gamers can do so much good in the world by just using their gifts. I've lost my share of friends and family members to Cancer, and if the donations we get at these marathons can even put a single dent in this horrific disease, then it's worth it. I love you all so much, and I hope to one day be there with you in person, be it in the audience cheering you on, as an announcer reading off the wonderful donation comments, or even running a game of my own as fast as possible for the thousands of people who this marathon brings hope and inspiration to. Thank you again for a fantastic week of great runs and amazing experiences with the people I've grown to consider as family. Game on, and keep going fast. ~Badger |
