Despite being in financial trouble I had to dump out everything in my paypal for Chrono Trigger, not only is it my favorite game of all time but it's overall a huge part of my life. It was the first RPG I had played at a very young age and going from platformers, beat-em-ups and puzzle games to something with the scale of Trigger blew me away. There are countless incredible moments that always stuck with, Frog splitting a mountain, watching Lavos fall and obliterate an entire castle, the Black Omen rising from the ocean, Crono's sacrifice.. I could go on and on. And don't even get me started about the soundtrack... It's always a joy seeing it run at GDQ events and one of the games strongest messages is why I give what I can to MSF now -- The future is worth fighting for. And to steal a quote from my favorite Character Frog, "We Have'th our own will" anyway, gushing and sappiness aside! All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu... This is the truth! This is my belief! ...At least for now. |
