EarthBound has a very special place in my life. It has directly and indirectly influenced it as the years has come and gone. It has set ablaze my passion for video games, it made me discover new communities, it reinforced my desire to have a career in the video game industry and, most importantly, it allowed me to meet important and close friends including the person currently hosting this run. To see EarthBound closing off one of the most successful Games Done Quick is a moment I will cherish for years to come. We shared smiles and we shared tears. This week has been mostly smiles and there shall be no crying until it's truly over. Thank you every runners, volunteers, staffers, sponsors, contributors and donors for this amazing week.
