Video Game have always help a very special place in my heart and played a very important role in my life. They have made me laugh, cry, helped me meet new people, and help me get through tough times in my life. For this reason I decided very early to become a game designer. It was also around this time that I lost my grandmother to cancer. It was a very tough time in my life. GDQ is always a very amazing experience for me. Not only is it fun, but it is also very moving to see something that I love be used to help prevent something that was so traumatic for me. It makes me hope that someday one of my creations will be able to be apart of this amazing experience. Thank you to the runners, announcers, crowd, and everyone else who helped to make such an amazing experience of using something we all love to combat a terrible disease, you are all truly amazing people. |
