I first encountered Mike89 on The Sonic Center leaderboards back in 2004, when he beat my then-first-placed time of 1:09 for Knuckles in Metropolis 1. No hard feelings though - in the years since then, it's always been a pleasant surprise whenever he's set a new Sonic world record. Good luck to Mike, one of the most informative and entertaining speedrunners around, on a worthy conclusion to his time attacking career! |
