FFVI is my favorite game of all time. The parallel between Celes throwing flowers off of a balcony in the Opera scene and then herself off the cliff at the beginning of WOR showed me the cinematic potential of video games, even in limited 16 bit form. What games have become and continue to be in potential as an art form started for me with this game. |
