Hello, AGDQ. I am donating this year in memory of a close family friend who passed away this past Friday from Multiple Myeloma - a rare blood plasma cancer. I would also, with this donation, like to make an effort to end the great lie of GDQ - "I just had to donate." Why do so many people insist on perpetuating this lie in their donations? They didn't HAVE to donate, they WANTED to donate, and they should be PROUD of that. Come on donators, let's put an end to this and say what we actually feel; We donate because we want to donate to a good cause. I not only CHOSE to donate, but I CHOSE to donate during my most HATED Zelda game on top of that, just to underline the importance of the cause. Let's keep those donations rolling, good luck on all the runs, and say it loudly and proudly: I'M DONATING BECAUSE I WANT TO! |
