My Mother battled bowel cancer while she was pregnant with me. After I was born things took a turn for the worse and it looked like she wasn't going to make it. On a day when things were looking really bad, my Father gave her a pair of baby booties several sizes too big for me, and he told her that she would be able to give them to me for my 1st birthday Thanks to the love and support of my amazing father she was able to pull through, and years later she still keeps the booties in her bedside table. Thanks AGDQ for the awareness and support of such a good cause that has affected so many people. |
