As of 2 hours ago, my dog of 15 years took his last breath in my arms. It was inevitably the cancer that took him from us. I couldn't help but fall into a ball and cry. Some say love is a powerful motivator, that must be why he stayed strong to the end. While he isn't a person; cancer is cancer and that is indiscriminate. Hopefully with the help of all you amazing people, we become one step closer to turning the tables. At this point, saving the animals seems appropriate. |
