I love this event, and I love this cause. This is my third year donating, and I do so gladly, as cancer has taken some very loved people from my family. However, because of early detection, my aunt fought and was able to beat breast cancer three years ago. This Christmas, she gave me four pieces of jewelry that belonged to my late grandma, who was so, so dear to me. My aunt sat me down and explained the history of each piece. As she was doing so, all I could think to do was repeatedly hug her, repeatedly thank her, and cry tears of pure joy and gratitude. That Christmas moment between me and my aunt was only possible because of early detection. Thank you all so much for your hard work. What you've all accomplished is nothing short of incredible.
