I played FFVIII when it first came out in 1999 and it's been my favorite game ever since. It also has the friendliest fandom community I've ever been privileged to be a part of, so on that note, shoutouts to my FFVIII discord group and everyone in the fandom I've befriended over the years--you're all fantastic and have changed my life for the better.
