Found out about these marathons shortly after SGDQ 2013. I've since spent many hours watching the uploads on youtube, but seeing it live for the first time is something else. We lost a close family friend to cancer several years ago, and watching her going through treatment was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever seen. Yet somehow she managed to have a smile on her face the whole time. She was like an aunt to me, so this donation is for her. Everyone involved with these events, the amazing runners, the techs behind the scenes, and the viewers both national and international, deserve a round of applause for the kindness and generosity they've shown over this past week.
