When I started GDQ, I set the donation goal at a lofty 5000 dollars, and everyone told me that was a very ambitious goal. We beat that goal by over double, raising over 10000 dollars for charity. At the time we thought that was incredible and were ecstatic the event didn't collapse, let alone succeed like it did.If you told me 10 years ago that GDQ would grow to where it is today, I would have said, "You're joking, right?" Well 10 years later, we're all here, and here's to 10 more years.P.S. I also said no memes for CGDQ, that didn't last very long.
