Every time I have donated to AGDQ in previous years it has been in thought of my brother who is a cancer survivor. In 2013 I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, so prevention of cancer has an even greater meaning to me now. I am finished with my treatments, but in my down time between hospital visits used my free time to learn how to speed run Super Mario 64. This is not only a great cause, but it directly helped me deal with my diagnosis and improved my moral by giving me an idea of what I can do with my down time.
