As a person who had to go in for an unexpected mammogram at 28 and a follow up ultrasound, I was lucky to have a specialist about 50 miles of me to help figure out that the lump was benign. There are so many people in rural and underserved areas who don't have that kind of luxury. Every penny that goes towards preventing cancer and helping people who don't have an easy doctor to visit is a penny well spent. |
