Hi all, I've been looking forward to this marathon since the last one ended. Unfortunately it is tainted by the loss this evening of my cat of 15 years. He was a shy Siberian who's friendly with those he got to know well. We don't know what caused his sudden illness over the weekend but cancer is definitely a possibility. As devastating as this wretched disease is in humans, it's just as bad in our furry friends. I do not wish this on any living creature, and I am so thankful for the work of PCF in funding research for early detection and prevention, in the hopes that this work can be translated to benefit all those we hold dear. Money goes towards the Serious Sam 4 run - just kidding, we reached that while I was typing this out! So, I guess Pumpkin Jack will be a skeleton.
