UraniumAnchor here. As our first onsite event in two and a half years comes to a close, I can't help but thing how wonderful it's been to see so many speedfriends in person again. I forget who said it originally, but there's a quote from years ago that stuck with me, so I'll repeat it for you here. "The nice thing about GDQ is that it's like Thanksgiving. It's over before you know it, but you'll be eating leftovers all week." Even being onsite, there's a lot of amazing runs I couldn't watch live, so I know there's going to be a lot of delving into the recordings, even for me.
As we wrap up, my eyes are glued to the donation total to see just how high we manage to get. The generosity of this community never ceases to amaze me. Good luck to our Elden Ring runners. And to the rest of you, stay comfy, and game on.
