Ah, Nintendo content standards from the early 1990's. How I miss those days. Going to the "café" to sit back and enjoy some "soda pop" with some Jurassic "soup" on the side. It'll perk you right up! Don't have too much, though, or it'll make you "dizzy" ;)

While I didn't watch him every time he streamed, I remember seeing GrandPooBear grinding away at Dram 2 pretty much every day. Looking forward to it!

Also, those hovers Andy kept pulling off blew my mind. That's downright superhuman!

Isn't it weird how saving vs. killing the animals always ends up so close every year? And which one wins each time? Does the result switch each time? What ranges of donations are most common for either choice?

I say some investigation is in order! I smell a bell curve!

Save 'em.

I love DKC2! Shout outs to David Wise for his amazing work on this game's soundtrack.

Speaking of music... the bramble stages were so frustrating to play as a kid. But at the same time you've got the ambient, calming music in those stages! Always found that super weird. Ironic, even.

Donation goes to (the?) Claude's choice.

You know, watching SMRPG like this so late. Seems like it's the perfect time for a midnight snack. Like cheese. Cheese is pretty great. What's your favorite cheese? Mine's Pepperjack.

So excited to see Super Mario Maker at a GDQ again! I've spent the past 10 months or so addicted to Mario Maker streams. The thing that amazes me most, though, is how people can play through the craziest levels and not rage. Kaizo blocks. Death doors. Death pipes. Weird Japanese stages... But throughout it all you guys manage to stay positive, and you make an already amazing game even better. So here's to all the SMM runners out there. You're all awesome!

I find it interesting how year after year, Save vs. Killing the animals works out to be rather even until the end. Perhaps that means there are only two types of people in the world: those that would rather save and those that would rather kill the animals?

In any case, I consider myself a neutral party so I consulted Lord Helix. He said, "As I see it, yes." So this donation goes towards saving the animals!

Nice to see Mega Man ZX get some love! Donating during the Mega Man X block as always because I looove these games.

Donation goes to runner's choice, I guess?

Mega Man X8! The game everyone forget exists because they gave up after X7! I'm so glad to see this game getting speedrun at SGDQ! This is such a solid, underappreciated game. Good luck, runners.

P.S. X > Zero ;)

MY favorite Final Fantasy (and I know obdajr will agree with me here) is Breath of Fire 3. All those really relevant and totally not filler minigames! Oodles of fun!

P.S. It's really FFV. Faris ftw

The SNES has a ton of amazing RPGs, but SMRPG has always stood out for me. Shout outs to the awesome SMRPG runners on the couch and those hiding in the back!

Sick minecart! Shout outs to all the awesome SMRPG runners on the couch and some of those hiding in the back! There's so many good RPGs in the SNES era, but this one is one of my all-time faves.

P.S. Pie: Can't wait for that vacation to Merrymore!

TheClaude's name appears for the first time a year before AGDQ 2015.

Many runners who returned from the marathon, had no WRs, l i t t l e s u b s, and even less loyalty to teh urn. Many became let's players and TASers plotting rebellion against the RNG.

(Good luck on DKC2, theclaude!)

It's the Mega Man X block! Yay! I'm more of an X fan, but Zero's cool too, I guess. Thanks for all the hard work that's made this marathon so much fun to watch. You guys are awesome! Good luck to Essentia and Puwexil with the FFVI finale! Donating this for Good Taste in an attempt to save Essentia the headache from the dreaded Demon Chocobo.

Had to put in one last donation for this awesome Chrono Trigger speedrun! Shout outs to puwexil, or as my friend calls him, "Pleasant Voice Man." Your stream chat really is the best chat!

Is that you on the donations, Kari?! Hiii! Greetings from the Backloggery. This is my second time watching AGDQ and I'm even more blown away than I was last year. That Super Metroid race last night was INTENSE. To all the runners out there: Everymaaaaaaaaan!!!

Hey guys! Last donation of SGDQ for me! So glad to see you guys playing FFII SNES. Brings back so many childhood memories. Like how I didn't know what "petrify" meant when I first fought Demon Wall (I was 8). Good times. Good luck, Brossentia. Splitting this evenly for Mac & Cheese (yum!)

Hey guys! Huge Mega Man fan here, so I'm glad to see you're streaming the BEST Mega Man X game (hee hee hee). While I'm sad that X is once again being upstaged by Zero, I understand how sweet that saber dash cancel is. Been enjoying the stream so far! AGDQ in January totally blew me away. Keep up the good work. You guys rock! Putting this toward Mega Man X6 because everyone must witness this game's excellent design :)

This is my first time watching the stream. Great job, guys! I'm really enjoying the crazy glitches being used in the OoT run. Put this towards FFIX singing, I guess?
